French Terracotta Cherub Sculpture
This delightful French sculpture is made from terracotta. Created in the late 19th century by G Cholin, it is signed at the back. The sculpture depicts two cherubs standing on an oval shaped base in front of a large tree stump. They appear to be celebrating harvest with their arms full of flowers. On the ground in front of them there is a basket overflowing with more flowers. The smaller cherub, wears a garland around his waist.
